ST, a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation, was trained in classical piano and has played the keyboards since her
youth. She is fluent at reading music as well as playing by ear. While known to pick up a guitar on occasion her
heart at this time lies in the keys.
Bobby plays by ear and has moved his improvisational drumming techniques from congas to the electronic drum set.
On some songs he will carry the beat but he prefers to provide color and character to the music. His maverick
percussion style has been described as musical, melodic, sensitive, primitive and well..... hard to describe!
As married best friends they work together during the day restoring sports cars and modifying vehicles. They draw
their music inspirations from work, travels, beliefs and love of life. Cars have a big influence in how and when
they write their songs as does the local culture and the ‘Red Road’. Animals also play a big part in the duo’s life.
The Rubin Dali Band is named after, Rubin and Dali, two Irish Setters that were their first fans.
