Rogers is a Nashville and Los Angeles based producer, engineer, and mixer who started his musical career
as a guitar player in the US Army Band, touring the west coast and getting his first taste of
recording in the band's analog studio.
From there, the multi-instrumentalist went on to earn a degree in music from San Jose State, built his first
Pro Tools based studio in Carmel, CA. and began passionately honing his skills on indie music projects
and major post-production audio work.
The first music project he produced in 1992, went on to get signed to Interscope Records and it was during
this time, Rogers recognized his love for working with other artist's music and helping them realize
their vision and sound. He quickly gained a reputation for creating a safe comfortable environment where
artists feel free to create and explore ideas, always putting the song and the needs of the music first.
Rogers has been producing and mixing full time ever since, comfortably working between both analog and digital
mediums, moving seamlessly between genres and styles.
Rogers continues to be an active speaker and panel leader at music industry conferences, enjoying the direct
contact it affords him with new artists.
His professional affiliations include NARAS (voting member), Royer Microphones, Gibson Guitars, and
Blue Sky Speakers.
RECENT PROJECTS:
Rogers has producer and mixed, included the single by Odds Against Tomorrow "It's True" on the Nick Records/
Sony BMG album Zoey 101, the debut album from Lilyphone recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark and just signed to
Michael Smith & Assoc. Management, the mix of The Mavericks' recording "Dixie" for the Emergent Records
release "Song of American," and six songs Rogers co-produced, engineered and mixed were featured in the
TriStar Pictures release "Moving McAllister" staring Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), and Ben Gourley (Pride and Prejudice).
