Tonya Haze was born and raised in the Frozen Tundra, (aka, The Upper Peninsula of Michigan), in a town with a name
that only Yoopers can pronounce. She graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1999 with a B.S. in
Broadcasting.
Tonya has worked at radio stations throughout the North/Midwest since 1993, and currently is working as the
"afternoon chick" and Assistant Program Director at Indiana's Rock Station - Y106 (WWWY).
Tonya has worked in Alternative, Christian, Adult Contemporary, Top 40, Classic Hits, Oldies, and Rock formats,
and even spent a few years working in Public Radio.
Tonya had the distinction of being the youngest (and first!) female DJ on WGLQ FM.
Tonya is very involved with the local Rock Scene, and is on the planning committee for the Muscatatuck River
Music Festival in Southern Indiana, and occasionaly does voice-over work for ad agencies in various parts of
the country.
Tonya lives in Columbus, Indiana with a gold fish named "Hat Trick."
